๐ŸŽฉDAO

As mentioned above, the Dream X Token will also be used in the future for the governance of the protocol. As DAO, the running of the platform will be progressively decentralized. Dreams Maker will be subject to the governance of the holders of the DRMX token, allowing them influence over key decisions that influence the future and evolution of the game.

Voting on new plans

One of the most important aspects of governance, relevant from the beginning of the platform, is the voting process for the addition of new Plans to the metaverse.

A Plan is the in-game equivalent of a blueprint, and must be created and proposed by a player or group of players (known as an Entity) in order for a new ship or space station to be minted.

A Plan will stipulate:

  1. The capabilities of a new ship (e.g. max speed, slots armor, etc).

  2. The characteristics and visuals: 3D model, texture, etc.

  3. The type and quantity of minerals required in order to mint it (e.g. 300 iron, 400 oxygen, 600 gold) and the time to build.

The Plan will be voted upon by a group of $DreamXToken holders in order to ensure that a shipโ€™s capabilities remain within acceptable parameters, and that the tokens required to build it are commensurate with those capabilities.

The proposer must first apply to the DAO for a Creator License. If granted, it must pay a fee of 3000 $DreamXToken in order to have a new Plan considered. This fee will be divided among the voters as a reward.

As the number of approved Plans accumulates, other players will be able to re-use existing Plans to mint vessels. When a plan is re-used, a royalty is paid out to the original proposing Entity.
